Hi everyone!
Crazy life this...still doing a job that makes me hate myself, still dreaming of finding a path that works for me in life, but good things happening with all the death and pain that keeps silently stalking, watching for a weakness. So let's end my whining right here and now!
I have picked up my pencil again and love it, I want to play with other mediums and maybe I will. Need so much practise! Maybe I can even find a scanner and share some bits with you? That would be nice.
Just as nice as the organic veg box a reliable guy just dropped of at my place. Mhm...blueberries, kiwis and tasty veg for the win! So glad I joined the revolution. Have you? I get my box every two weeks on Wednesdays from Riverford foods. Seasonal food with a taste that makes you realise what supermarket veg can never give you quite as well. I am sure there is a farm scheme around your area, are you interested? Or maybe you are groing your own, loving it and smiling at my box and the 2mx1m garden patch with its little cute swiss chard leaves munched on by slugs. Don't laugh! There will be at least one survivor to sample, I am sure. Evil slugs...
Always worth giving tasty food a shot. I started small and now I am hooked, but if you want a one time date with the veg man only I am sure you can both make the most of it, with romantic music and a blueberry cheesecake recipe. My treat, the cheesecake recipe that is, after all we all need a little spoiling sometimes right?
I think I might start a food blog. Just because its tasty and I want to share sweet nothings and heavy casseroles with you lot. Starting on my brother's wedding cake next week if he can decide what he wants. Sugar roses, loads of cream and because its him, marzipan galore. Have I mentioned how much I love food here?
Other notes include my re-discovery of my japanese learning book...I have forgotten everything. So, here I go from scratch!
Driving lessons still give me heartattacks and I want to run the other way, but I am slowly getting better. We shall see...
So, that's it. No! Wait, nearly. I am going to see Schiller in Bremen (germany) in December for an amazing concert. Anyone else coming? Or maybe you will be with me at the Jonathan Coulton concert in London this June?
So that's it from here, shall we have some tea and cookies and you tell me about your growing adventures?
